⚡ Significant Event

Positioned late on word that DOW8 was operating out of Wellington, following this I planned a KS/OK border target. A cell south west of Udall was escalating into ping pong size hail and forcing a full reroute off our intended path. Cleared the Udall cell and pushed toward Kay County to work the fast developing Braman storm, hard east, upon crossing Oklahoma border sharp south to clear the forward flank and into the notch. Kay County pasture terrain degraded road options fast. Called it off. The tornado we were targeting was the same one that put the Dominator 3 in a ditch. Shortly after we bailed, the Enid EF4 produced one of the most significant tornadoes of the outbreak, its outflow ultimately dissipating the Braman storm.
